This type of radiation penetrates deeper and emits exponentially lower radiation levels than radioactive isotopes. Westcoast’s high-resolution tablets use the latest software algorithms and technical advancements in imaging, including real-time processing. The technology has evolved to allow penetrations of up to 14” through concrete, and 2.5” of steel all while delivering clear visualizations of the structure’s internal components, i.e, rebar, post-tension cables, conduits, voids, and other elements such as cracks and fissures. Corrosion assessments, pipe and valve inspections are also possible. We can stitch together multiple images to create large seamless areas of interest.

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

Our environmentally friendly digital imaging solutions offer a non-destructive approach while capturing all the critical details without damaging the structure and even more costly re-instatement. The examinations are not only restricted to concrete constructions; they can also be applied to reinforced masonry made of natural stones or bricks, wood, plastics, insulation, membranes, and much more.
